Pet Food Recall Information

As you are no doubt aware, the pet food industry has been hit with a major crisis affecting not only national brands, but also many private labeled brands of dog and cat food.

Please be aware that all PetCare Pet Insurance policies will cover any kidney damage (including both the diagnosis and treatment) for any cat or dog which was exposed to any of the tainted pet food (now recalled) as long as the animal was enrolled in a PetCare Insurance Policy prior to the onset of symptoms. Coverage will be provided up to the coverage limit under the category of Poison Ingestion (Accident coverage).

Thank you so very much for being there during our recent crisis with DJ and the poisoning incident! We think it was the canned dog food that has been recalled nation-wide that caused her illness. She presented symptoms of vomiting, weakness, panting, thirsting, and could barely walk.
