Third Party Damage Coverage

PetCare will only pay for physical damages to the interior of the policyholder's Rental Unit, excluding certain conditions. The policyholder's pet must directly cause the damages to the Rental Unit. The maximum coverage benefit is listed below in the “Third Party Damage Claim”.

Third Party Damage Claim:

Claim submitted must include a copy of the lease/rental agreement applicable at the time of the claim's occurrence and a copy of the accountability letter from landlord clearly indicating the following:

  1. Total damages to unit, itemized
  2. The forfeiture of damage deposits and amount thereof
  3. The damages that were specifically caused by named pet
  4. Cost to repair/replace damages caused by named pet
Limit of Coverage:

Coverage for damages is a reimbursement and the claim is only payable to Landlord.
