A Dog and “His Master's Voice”

The most famous music trademark featuring a canine is the image of a bull terrier/fox terrier mix named “Nipper”, looking inquisitively with a cocked head into a Gramophone. Nipper was born in 1884 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England. He was found as a stray and given a home by Mark Barraud.
